The reason that I ask this question is that the tile of my review article is "Social networkding affects brains like falllin in love".
I will tell you about the content of the article in short and then I will give you my opinion.
The key word is oxytosin. The oxytosin is the hormon in our body. And it is called as social glue hormone because it affects our empathy, generousity and trust. Wehn we meet our old good friend, the oxitosin level is increased.
The nero economist Dr. Zak has experimented on the twitter to see the oxytosin level. He measured the oxytosin level of twitter user and compare the oxitosin level of befroe and after tweeting.
The reulst is 13% spike up of oxytosin and reduced streess hormone. It does means that the brain process the tweeter as a real connection. real relationship with others who we care.
We feel the same as real world as the on-line world.
What this result imply.
Let me suggest my idea.
The first thing is the good aspect of this result.
We live in the world with mobile, and big online network world.
We can meet easily the online firends and other people in online. The another reserarch shows that more firendis in contact less sick and live longer. If the brain consider the online communication as real, we can reduce our stress hormone can be more generous person. This good point I think.
But there is another aspect of this result.
Even if we feel the same as the real world, the online- network cannot replace the real connection in person. If somebody overvalue on the online network and careless on the real relationship, he or she might get in trouble someday, because the online- connection is very narrow and it can be unlinked easily. So we should balanced with the online and real world.
To summarize, the online social network makes us more generous and less our stress it effects our mental in positive way. But we the offline real world connection is still important. So we should balance with the on-line social network.

The title of my review article is " social networking affects brains like falling in love".

I will give you the 주장 of article in short, and I will give you my opinions.

You may have heard about the hormone oxytosin. oxytosin is called as social glue hormone. Because it strenthen our generosity, our empathy, and trust. When we meet our old good freiedds our oxytosyin level is increased.

Dr.Zak who is neuroeconomist experiment on the twitter. He measured the level of oxytosin before and after the subject do the itter.

The result is 13% spike of oxytosin level and decrease of stress horman. ait is same spike as the groom's level in wedding. This result implies that when we do twitter brain feel that we are in connection as in real. E-connection process in the brain as in-person connection.

Our brain interpreted tweeting as if we were directely interacting with people we cared about.

What does this result imply?

I think there are two different aspects of this result.

At first, the social media network can make us more healthy mentaly. People who has many friends live longer and less sick. Because the social support lessen the stress. If we feel the same as real when we do the social media network, it is same effect that we have many good friends.

What about the dangerous aspect of this fact. Even if we fe디 as same as real, the on-line relationship cannot replace the of that. The on-line connection is very narrow, it can be unlinked easily. If somebody overvalue on the online connection, he might be in trouble later. The importance is balance with online and real world.

In summary, to enjoy with social media network will lessen our stress and make us more generous people, however we should balanced with the real world relationship, of course.
