A-9. (Free question) What kind of animal do you want to be?
Elephant. Elephant is herbivorous animal, but they do not afraid carnivorous animal. They are strong enough to be own their own.

C-2. What changes would you make in your college?
It will be better to expand my college. My college is science and technology college, but we can establish other department major such as economics or phiosophy. They are closely related to the mathematics and science. And enlarge the number of students. The power of college is from the graduate students who advance to various field in society.

B-6. How has your college experience prepared you for your career?
My career is study for complex system based on physics. For my career when I was freshman I decided to major physics, and I participants in the complex system lab, and learn how they research and how they approach the problem.

C-2. What changes would you make in your college?
If I have any power to change the college I want to expand the department of college. I think economics is one of natural science or engineering. And the philosophy is very eseential study of everything. MIT is an example. They have economics and philosophy. I want to change like that.

The job that my knowledge can be used. So that I can help the company with my ability with my enthusiasm. 

A-1. Tell me about yourself.  
My name is XXX, I graduated XXX last year and I majored in physics. The reason that I majored in physics is to study the complex system based on physics. The complex system treat not only the physical world but the social interaction and dynamics. I am interested in sociology and I want to study the society and people behavior based on physical methodology.

A-2. What experience do you have in this field?
I participated in labarotory of complex system, and I learned how they approach the problem, and what kind of subject they handle it. I code the simple network system and got the same result as in thesis. And I studied game theory, several psychology text and behavior economics alone.

C-1. What was your favorite class and why? What was your least favorite class and why?
My favorite class was "presentation and discussion", it is name of class. In that class, I realized that communication with others is not easy but important. Especially in the discussion, I learned the various aspect and view of one topic. It was interesting and my least favorite class was biology. It was difficult to me to memorize all that words without fundamental principle. Deduction from the principle is much familiar to me.

B-1. Why did you choose the college that you attended?
XXX selects few studendts and invest to them. And they provide the best enviroment to students to study. It was fascinating to me.

C-3. Do you have plans to continue your education?
Sure, I will continuously study at least until I get docgtor degree. Even after that I want to research on my interest.

I want expand my college. I think power of college comes from the graduate students advance to various field. Make other department major such as economics is one way to enlarge the college.

C-9. What do your classmates say about you?
When I was highschool students, they said to me that I am an ascetic, because I was quiet and looked thinking something always. In the college we do not say directly to each other, but I think they say about me that I should have to go to the liberal arts major because I write or approach to something in humanitie's way.

B-4. What are your long-term career objectives and how do you plan to achieve them?
My long-term career objective is using my knowledge about complex system, helping to design policy of government. To do that I should be the one of the best expert in my field first and I should study not my major but the broad knowlegd about society and administrations. I will study those in the future.

B-1. Why did you choose the college that you attended?
I heard that XXX is research-centered college that the undergraduate student can participate in research earlier than other college. It sounded fascinating to me that I wanted to enter this college.

C-5. Describe one of the biggest mistakes you made in college. What did you learn from your mistake?
When I was sophomore, I took a mechanics. It was difficult not only to me but most of the students. And including me the midterm exam score was terrible. The fault was I gave up the course. I did not study more and submitted many homeworks. And I got a bad grade. But when I retook the class it was not that difficult than that time. The reason of giving up was the fear. After that I never give up when the course or subject is challanging. Do something is better than nothing, I learned.

I want to learn how we approach the practical problem in this field, and how cooperation is occurred in this field. And

A. I read books about complex system, network theory, game theory, behavioral economics, social psychology, etc. Computer simulation for network system

A. Strength: steady,

A. I want to apply my knowlege and I also want to study further about my major in this job.

A.

A. It does not matter to me, however it will be better if there is time to comtemplate alone after team work.

A. I learned in school that "Do not give up". When I was freshmen or sophomore I easily gave up if the task looked hard to me. But I realize that do something is better than nothing always. And that preserving on something will help someday.

A. Physics, I want to study sociology phenomenon based on physics. The methodology of physics is very powerful and useful I think.

A. I was in volunteer circle in my college and I used to go the orphanage house and play with orphan. And I was in the XXXX branch of unep angel, which is university student union of unep.

A. My long-term career is continue to study complex system and be the expert in that field. And I want to share my knowledge and use my knowledge in needed area.

5. What was your most memorable classroom experience?
A. I took the class presentation and discussion. And I realize that I was not good at communicating with others and I practiced to deliver my opinion effectively. And at last I think I help my team some amount to win the discussion.

6. How has your college experience prepared you for your career?
A. At least I majored in physics so I learned the methodology of physics and mathematical skills. And my research participation experience give me the perspective how they communicate in the filed of physics or complex system.

7. How would you desribe the ideal job for you following graduation?
A. The ideal job for me is the job to do field study so I handle more practical problem.

A. I want to join in performance circle like band or guitar circle something like that. To be in front of audience with my instrument might be feel fantastic. And I should have done more extra-school activity. To meet various people is most important thing to do when the student I think.

A. Presentation and discussion. To share and discussing is interesting to me. And I can realize different view of things.
The least favorite class is biology. I should memorize all that thing without understanding. To memorize shortly study the principle is very frustrating me.

A. Make students number twice. The power of college is from the graduating students. To get reputation the school should produce various students. One of method is to enlarge the major course. I thinkg the economics is managed in the science and technology college. And philosophy also.

A. Sure, I want to continue my study until becomming the professional person.

4. Explain a time you had to deal with a high-pressure situation. How did you work through it and what were the result?
A. I worked in the XXX last year. I was not familar with my job at all. It was so hard to me. But I was staff and I was responsible of that job so I should accomplish my duty. It was so hard time. At last the event is finished succesfully.

5. Describe one of the biggest mistakes you made in college. What did you learn from your mistake?
A. When I took my first major subject, mechanics, it was weird to me. I was grappling with the subject. And I gave up study and I got an C for that. However when I was retaking that subject I thought that I should have studied hard even I did not understand. After that I never give up when the subject is challanging.

6. How would you describe your leadership skills?
A. I think their are two kinds of leadership. One is having his people in the palm of his hand by charisma. And the other one is inducing spontaneous entusiasm of members. I want to call it soft leadership. And I think I do not have charisma but have that kind of soft leadership.

7. How would you make important decisions?
A. At first I gather the infromation from the people who already experienced, and family, friends, and from website. And then I wrote the all possible decision and its expected result and I think which one will good in long-term and short-term. Summarizing with the information I decide how to do. 

8. Do you think college has changed you as a person? If so, how?
A. I think my friends in same major changed me be more stirct to the fact. They always intense on fact. I also learned that. 

9. What do your classmates say about you?
A. At first they think that I am a quiet person, but later, they told me that I am considerable person, (hopefully).

1. 아.. missA.. 박진영 정말 오래간다. 박진영 스타일은 아직 한국에서 완전히 소비되지 않았다. 무너지나 무너지나 싶다가도 항상 더 세련된 결과물을 내보이는 박진영 정말 대단하다. 작사, 작곡, 편곡, 안무.. 놀랍다.

2. 네트워크의 기본성질 중 하나가 평균 거리(length)다. 두 노드 간에 최단 거리의 평균을 length라고 하는데, 이 length를 구하는 코딩을 하는 게 만만치가 않다. 물론 어떻게서든 구할 수 있는데 문제는 속도. 예전에 매틀랩으로 짰을 때는 시간이 너무 오래 걸려서, 과전산실에서 여러대 컴퓨터를 한꺼번에 돌렸다. 이번엔 그 때보다 훨씬 좋은 노트북으로 R로 짜서 돌리는데 그 때보다 더 걸리는 것 같다. 매틀랩이 느리다는 건 그 때 알았지만, R은 더 느린 것 같다. 분명 그 때보다는 더 시간이 적게 걸리는 알고리즘인 줄 알았는데, 속도가 절망적이다. 절망적이라는 것은 노드 1000개짜리를 돌려서 구하는데, 이건 뭐 1시간이 지나도 끝이 안 나서 그냥 꺼버려서 사실 얼마나 걸릴지 모른다. 이런 간단한 거도 최적화를 못 시키니 걱정이다.

3. 나는 손 피부가 온전했던 적이 없다. 습진, 알러지, 아토피. 오래된 약은 잘 먹히지도 않고, 그렇다고 날 때마다 병원을 갈 수도 없는 노릇이다. 정말 가렵다. 핸드크림을 바르지 않아서 그런 건가. 익숙해지지 않는 괴로움이다.
